This is the vision behind Biblioteca in Campagna, a place where the pages of history, culture, and humanity come alive. Once the family home of Solomon’s adoptive parents, Paola Ciarelli and Domenico Pomanti, the villa now opens its doors to guests from around the world.
Located just minutes from the historic city of Teramo, the villa stands as the first built chapter of The Arch’Triangle initiative. What began as a son’s tribute has become a quiet revolution in how we connect across borders.
Here, every guest becomes part of a living archive – bringing a book from their homeland, planting a seed, and contributing to a growing garden of global heritage.
A Legacy Built on Love and Unity
Inspired by his late adoptive mother’s dream to make her home a gathering space for stories and people, Solomon transformed the villa into a place where people could rest, reflect, and reconnect. What began as a personal promise now stands as an international symbol of peace and unity.

Sleep in a tranquil villa surrounded by olive trees and Apennine views, and savor seasonal feasts inspired by the seeds and stories planted by previous guests. Just minutes from Teramo’s vibrant center and close to both the Adriatic coast and hiking trails, it’s the perfect base for exploring Abruzzo or simply unwinding.
A Library of Connection
The villa’s grounds have been transformed into an interactive library garden. Every guest is invited to bring a book from their homeland. It could be a childhood story, a beloved folktale, a piece of philosophy, or a personal favorite that shaped their worldview. Each book carries a label with the donor’s name and country, turning this garden into a living archive of global voices.

The Library That Grows With Every Guest
The villa’s ancient olive grove is turned into an interactive library garden, where books, seeds, and stories merge to create a living monument to cultural exchange.
Be a Part of the Ritual of Belonging
At Biblioteca in Campagna, your presence leaves a living mark. When you arrive, you’ll receive a Roots Kit, which includes:
- A hand-painted ceramic pot
- Seeds from your country’s national flower
With this, you’ll plant your seed and water it at the Unity Fountain. Then, your pot, now holding a story and a seed, will take its place beneath the olive trees, standing alongside stories from around the world.
You’re always welcome to come back and care for what you planted. However, if you can’t, we’ll send you digital updates via our guest-dedicated webpage, so you can still watch your roots grow, no matter where you are.
The Storyteller’s Lounge
Step inside the villa and find warmth beyond the fire. This cozy indoor lounge offers hammocks, fireplaces, and quiet corners made for reflection, reading, or shared storytelling.

Like the Biblioteca Marciana in Venice (1468), Italy knows how to preserve and share knowledge across cultures. The Biblioteca In Campagna is inspired by Paola Ciarelli and Domenico Pomanti – a story of love for unity that embodies the Arch*Triangle Initiative spirit. Led by Architect Solomon Pomanti Enweh, this library turns personal heritage into a global resource, echoing Cardinal Bessarion’s act of preserving culture for future generations.
